Board of Supervisors Field Trip

When: ~8:30 AM - 1 PM

Join us in support of the town Board's efforts to get more attention and care from the county and our elected officials. 

The Imperial County Board of Supervisors Meeting is held in El Centro, an hour away from Bombay Beach. We are going in support of our community leaders who will talk during the public comments section. We will be there to show the county that there are many people invested in the future fof Bombay Beach

As always, our weekly Community Meetings are potlucks. Please bring something to share - beverages, snacks, food, etc.

New structure this week: we'll gather at 7 pm for the potluck and move into the meeting at 8 pm. This means those joining us on zoom can hold off until 8 pm to hop on the link. 

 

As a reminder, Community Meetings are our weekly open forum to all members of the Bombay Beach community to hear updates from the Biennale Org Team, share community member insights, and discuss the evolving Social Sculpture that is the Bombay Beach Biennale.

Biennale Org Team

  • New Community Portal is live, which includes all the resources you need to navigate the Biennale season (more coming soon). 

  • We've turned the Community Calendar into a Google Calendar which you can pull up on your phone for easy reference. 

  • Please send the Volunteer Sign-Up form to your friends coming into town throughout the coming weeks. Being a volunteer is a great and easy way to participate and give back to the community! 

  • If you're hosting events/open galleries at your space/are interested in being on the map/are open to hosting art in your space, please fill out the Venue/Gallery Sign-Up form

  • If you're in need of help from Biennale volunteers, please fill out the Volunteer Request submission.

Community

  • The BBBBistro (our forthcoming pop-up restaurant) needs volunteers! Please fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up form and click "BBBBistro."
